It's no secret that I love me some Dolly. I grew up in Tennessee, after all, and she's our most famous export. Last year, I even had the opportunity to interview her at Dollywood, and during that trip I thought to myself, "I want to come back here with Country Living readers." Over the years, I've also heard many of you say that the destination is on your bucket list, which is why we thought we'd make it official.
On June 5–7, we're hosting a Weekend at Dollywood—a fun-filled event in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, filled with all things Dolly plus some classically Country Living pastimes. The itinerary includes antiquing in East Tennessee, a visit to Dolly's hometown, exclusive park access (including first dibs on touring the Dolly Parton Experience—no waiting in line), special meet-and-greets with Country Living editors (ask us anything!), Dolly-themed swag, a peek inside Dolly's tour bus, and a Sunday morning send-off that includes Dollywood's famous cinnamon bread and a cross-stitching class with our resident stitcher Katie Bowlby. (In true Dolly fashion, it's a butterfly pattern.)
This is such a fun excuse to organize a group getaway, a mother-daughter trip, or even fly solo because you'll have plenty of new friends at the ready. The event is exclusively for Country Living All Access subscribers, so if you haven't already, join Country Living All Access today so you can grab tickets and come with us to the Smokies. Limited event tickets are available, so book soon to secure your spot!
