So... I launched a new membership this week. 😄 The response has been amazing so far! I am humbled that so many of you have already chosen to join me as Founding Members on this journey. My announcement also brought up a few questions, such as...

This new membership is an enhanced experience for those who are interested in learning more about Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine and culture. It's optional. I'll still be sending out my regular recipe updates periodically... just like this one. 🕎

HOW TO MAKE CRISPY PERFECT LATKES EVERY TIME - It's that time of year again... time for some crispy golden goodness! This tutorial will answer all your latke questions, and includes links to some of my most popular latke recipes. TUTORIAL HERE or PIN IT for later.
SUFGANIYOT - Sufganiyot (pronounced soof-gahn-eeyot) are traditional Hanukkah jelly-filled doughnuts fried in oil. These delectable sweet Israeli treats have a fascinating history. BUTTER BEAN SOUP - On a chilly evening, there is nothing better than a piping hot bowl of Butter Bean Soup. This healthy vegan soup is nourishing and flavorful. With an array of colorful vegetables and fresh dill, this is an entree you can feel good about. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
BRAISED LEMON CHICKEN WITH DILL AND TURMERIC - Here I've paired fresh dill with lemon juice and turmeric to create a simple and satisfying chicken entree. PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM SCHNITZEL - Replacing chicken with sliced Portobello mushrooms seemed like a tasty meatless alternative to chicken schnitzel. I took this concept a step further and replaced the usual coating with my "famous" Crunchy Panko Coating. The resulting Portobello Mushroom Schnitzel is addictive and can be served as an entree or appetizer. I think they're good with just a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, but feel free to serve them with your favorite dipping sauces.  RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
SPICY ROASTED CARROTS AND FENNEL - If you're looking for a unique and flavorful vegan side dish, these Spicy Roasted Carrots and Fennel should fit the bill nicely.  I love using a mix of rainbow heirloom carrots for a beautiful, eye-catching presentation. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
HOMEMADE HOLIDAY SUGAR COOKIES - A few years back, I took on the challenge of learning how to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing. Here, I've provided all of my tips in hopes of making the process a little easier for you!
