The mainstream right thinks it's cheeky and iconoclastic because it says: Cash for Clunkers is dumb!

Then when a much stupider act in foreign policy is implemented, whose foolishness all the world can see, and whose propaganda they would never accept were it coming from any country but their own, they fall for that 100%. They think: "Liberals are wimps and hate war, so that means we must be tough and support war!"

Well, just a reminder that left-liberals supported the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (for most of the time), the Persian Gulf War (read The New Republic from that time), the intervention in the Balkans, the intervention in Serbia, and much if not all of the War on Terror.

So the better response to the left-liberal is to say the whole damn thing is a racket: the domestic policy and the foreign policy, and that both are devised by people and institutions whose primary concern -- to put it extremely mildly -- is not your well-being.

So when Lt. Col. Daniel Davis criticizes what's going on right now, that is not because he's a "liberal." We are more sophisticated than that, dear reader.

Davis sent the neocons into overdrive when Tulsi Gabbard tried without success to bring him into the Trump Administration. He was just the voice of conservative restraint that place needed, the opposite of the room-temp IQ Sean Hannity, and unlike Mark Levin and the President's other new friends, had at no time been a NeverTrumper.

Davis had this to say this morning:

President Trump routinely says we have won the war, and "obliterated" all of Iran's military capacity, still Hormuz remains, closed, and Tehran retains a death grip on the flow of 20% of the world's flow of oil.

Because of our past malpractice in diplomacy, using talks as a cover to prep for military operations, the Iranians will not listen to any proposals to end the war right now that do not advantage them.

Because of our war of choice, Iran now has leverage, not only over the United States, but over the global economy, in a way that would never otherwise have been in their hands.

This is the bitter fruit of foolish and arrogant policies from our country. The grave problem now, however, is that we are at a moment at which rational and sober reflection would lead us to finding a hat-in-hand solution to get the war over at any cost as soon as possible.

But evidence is growing that we're going to do the opposite, and expand our foolishness and expand the war on the ground.

Heaven help us.

I personally can't change any of this, obviously. The best I can do is protect my family from the fallout.

Thus while some people at a time like this are worried about gas prices, and others fret over their stock portfolio, more than a thousand of my listeners and I don't have to worry about that, because our approach generates income no matter what happens in the markets.

The first time I told everyone about Low Stress Options, my longtime readers joined me in it because they figured it had to be good. They prospered, as the zillions of thank-you notes and testimonials attest.

Others said Woods must be full of it. They did not prosper. Many such cases!

Let that not be you, dear reader. Do what the smart Woods readers are doing:
