If you've ever heard my husband, Scot - our Co-Founder & GiveBackGuy - describe his and my role at STATE, he'd probably say, "Jacq finds insane ways to design, sell, market, finance, create and sell the product... and then I donate it all away!" 
 
In addition to making sarcastic, mostly true statements like this, Scot defines the term 'social entrepreneur' and has made it his life's work to use STATE as a vehicle in leveling the playing field however possible. 
 
He's carried out countless, impactful give back events and initiatives - some star-studded with Beyonce, Chance the Rapper, Kevin Durant, Big Sean, Tracy Morgan, Jessica Alba and many more - spoken at President Obama's White House, and hosted thousands of kids on the Dallas Cowboys & White Sox fields.
 
But, despite all that, one of his proudest moments came this past summer when nearly twenty former campers from the nonprofit program we ran for kids from Brooklyn & the Bronx flew to California to serve as counselors at CAMP MADE4ME - our new nonprofit camp serving kids from the Bay Area's most underfunded neighborhoods. They gave back to us while giving the kids the experience they had at their age.
 
Having a "GiveBackGuy" on any company's team isn't the norm, but we are always so proud and appreciative of ours since day one… and we can't wait to share what he's cooking up to support American kids, families and communities in the ways they need it most this holiday season!
