Her Dad Built This Coastal Cottage in the '70s—Now She's Giving It a Fresh New Feel |
Liz Moriarty has fond memories growing up on Martha's Vineyard. The iconic island was a picturesque place to spend a childhood, playing amongst the rolling sand dunes and soaking up the quintessential Americana of long, lazy summers. Her father, architect Rick Anderson, first came to the island over 50 years ago and is a beloved transplant, known for knocking on doors around the island and asking the friendly inhabitants about their historic homes. ("They always welcome him in," says his partner, interior designer Marina Case.) That's actually how he gathered the ideas to build in 1978 the house Liz, her husband Tim, and their three kids now call home. |
