Let's be real— self-tanningcan feel a little intimidating. But once you get the hang of it? It's honestly a total game-changer!
Here's how I make sure my tan comes out smooth, even and glowy every single time:
❌ Mistake #1: Skipping Exfoliation I never skip this step. Dry patches = patchy tan. I always exfoliate with our Exfoliating Mitt to buff away dead skin. This gives your tanner a smooth, even canvas to stick to—and helps your glow last way longer.
❌ Mistake #2: Applying Too Much at Once I've definitely made this mistake before. I now apply a thin layer of my Self Tanner first and let it dry before building. It helps avoid streaks and orange-y patches. (Less really is more)
❌ Mistake #3: Neglecting Hands, Feet & Elbows These tricky spots soak up product fast like a sponge, which means they can turn way too dark. I always use our Kabuki Brushto apply a small amount and blend well for a natural fade.
With the right prep and tools, a flawless tan is totally within reach—no orange tones, no drama.
