It's almost May and with that comes Mother's Day. A day we honor and celebrate the women who shaped us. Being a parent is never easy and being a good one is even harder.

My foundation was built by my mom. I watched her create her own path and build a career on her terms. She taught me not just about fashion but about the power of dressing well and how it can change how you feel and how you move through the world.

From her, I learned to appreciate beautiful fabrics, to stay relevant in an ever-changing world and to always stand strong and independent (maybe a little too independent sometimes!).

At 57, I find myself deeply grateful for the resilience she passed down and the passion she sparked in me for art and for fashion.
