To Our STATE Family ❤️

The other day, outta nowhere, our 9 year old son said, "You know what I like about our soccer team? We're just nice kids. Everyone's nice... and even the other teams like playing us because... we're just really nice!"
We didn't fully grasp what he said in the moment as we were hustling to join his (really nice) soccer team for a game, but it later hit us how beautiful a statement it was, and the similarities we often feel about our STATE team... and you all.
So, why share this in our Thanksgiving email? Well, it just felt like the right time to feel good about being part of a nice team and broader community happily rockin' STATE Bags on the daily. A team who not only deeply cares about the quality and value of our products, but the character of the humans and hearts behind them. And a community who appreciates our #GiveForward efforts and is thoughtfully carrying that message on to the next generation.
Does it feel a little strange to promote how nice we all are? A little. But could acknowledging how proud we are to be part of a group that cares about the way we treat others possibly help spread goodness to a world that desperately needs more of it? Maybe... and for that, we're hopeful, AND thankful!
