Hi Friend,

Happy December! The final month of the year always feels like a sprint, filled with holiday parties, traditions, and the yearning for comfort food that always comes with cooling temperatures.

I'm starting to plan our holiday menus, while continuing to pack school lunches and cook weeknight dinners. With so many delicious dishes in my orbit, I wanted to share some early December ideas with you. And with Hanukkah just around the corner, classic potato latkes seemed like the perfect way to kick things off. Shabbat Shalom!

CLASSIC POTATO LATKES - Who can resist a crispy, salty potato pancake with a warm and fluffy center? We wait all year long to make these time-honored Hanukkah delights. If you're looking for a traditional potato latke recipe, you've found it! RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.

BUTTER BEAN SOUP - On a chilly evening, there is nothing better than a piping hot bowl of Butter Bean Soup. With an array of colorful vegetables and fresh dill, this soup is filling enough for a light entree - especially when paired with warm, crusty bread. RECIPE HERE or  PIN IT  for later.

GREEK YOGURT APPLE STREUSEL CAKE - For holidays and family gatherings, I love making loaf cakes and quick breads. They're an easy way to warm up the home with delicious aroma, and they also make great homemade gifts. This Greek Yogurt Apple Streusel cake is a particular favorite; it's a fruity alternative to traditional coffee cake. RECIPE HERE or  PIN IT  for later.

CHICKEN VEGETABLE COUSCOUS - this easy, healthy and tasty Mediterranean meal is "just right" for colder weather months. I consider it one of my ultimate comfort foods! RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.

I hope you enjoy these recipes, and the many new dishes featured on my redesigned site! I am grateful to you for being a part of my cooking journey.
