Dear Friends,

As we approach the end of 2020, it can be difficult to pick out the highlights. For many, it has been a trying year and we've had to find new ways to connect and keep our beloved traditions alive. I'm doing my best to look ahead to more positive times, while also acknowledging and appreciating some of the good things that have happened this year. A big one for me has been the opportunity to spend more time at home with my family; for that gift, I am truly grateful.

While big New Year's Eve celebrations are likely off the table, we can still celebrate the passing of this year with some tasty food and drinks! Check out some of my favorite recipe options below. Wishing you all a safe, healthy, and happy New Year!

Looking for more holiday content? Check out my New Years Eve recipe roundup for more inspiration.
MEDITERRANEAN 7 LAYER DIP - A healthy twist on traditional Tex Mex seven layer dip. Layered hummus, Greek yogurt, Greek olives, feta cheese and more create a luscious dip to serve with pita chips or cruditĂ©s. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
VANILLA BERRY SPARKLING SANGRIA - This sweet and refreshing cocktail is made with fresh berries, rosĂ©, a touch of rum and sparkling water. The flavor is boosted by a vanilla-infused simple syrup. Don't use vanilla extract here, a whole vanilla bean split down the middle provides the perfect flavor punch. You'll love it! RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
AUNT CAROL'S SPINACH DIP - We call this Aunt Carol's dip, even though it's a common recipe throughout the country (you can find it on the back of some vegetable soup mixes). We grew up knowing that my Aunt Carol would bring this delicious dip to every holiday gathering. I use a hollowed out round of sourdough to create a bowl for the dip. Cut the bread that you hollowed out into chunks, and it's absolutely perfect for dipping! You can also serve with veggie sticks – carrots, celery, and bell peppers all work well. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
SMOKED SALMON CROSTINI - These dainty Smoked Salmon Crostini are inspired by my love of bagels, lox, and cream cheese. They capture that awesome lox and cream cheese flavor, lightened up with a bit of Greek yogurt, served on crunchy little crostinis… a delectable bite-sized treat. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
SMOKY PANKO SCHNITZEL BITES - Super easy to make and so tasty, coated in a crunchy golden crust made with panko, smoked paprika and sesame. A warm honey-sriracha sauce is the perfect sweet-and-spicy accompaniment. This would make a tasty finger food for a homespun soiree! RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
GREEK YOGURT CHOCOLATE MOUSSE - This isn't exactly like traditional chocolate mousse… it's sweet, slightly tart, and totally decadent. This wonderful recipe comes from cookbook author Maria Speck. RECIPE HERE or PIN IT for later.
