Hello June,

As you know we are off o the Cote d'Azur later this month. I have to wrestle with this awful house there that needs doing up, or better still, selling! Louis, who did the work on our house, is going down to visit his son in Six-Fours and has kindly offered to come over and give us his opinion, which obviously I give greater weight to than locals!

He won't be going down until the day before we come back, I was wondering how your schedule looks and whether we could shift the whole period back a bit, say to the 12th? Starting commensurately later around the 26th? ( I'm not sure what Jackie has arranged)

Don't worry if you can't as it may be I'd come back, pick Mollie up and go back for another week or so, or send Jackie back on the train, it doesn't need us both to be there.

That house is a bloody Albatross, it'll cost about €50k to make it right and to maximise the price we could get for it,  and about 6 months work, and even then I hate the place with a vengeance! Nice for the boat but overrun with unwashed low-life holidaymakers, so much nicer here! I think I shall just dump it and cut my losses!

Let me know if you can change it, I don't want to leave Mollie any longer as I have been away,  Jackie is away in the UK now, and I shall be away most of the time from when she gets back until we go,  so poor old Mollie is always missing someone!
